Did anyone watch this?  Please can you explain the end to me.  I may just be having a blonde moment, but I'm confused.  Was the guy who stayed behind at the end involved in the whole thing?

I was really really disappointed with the ending. No, i dont think he was involved (would have been better if he was!) i think he just decided he had nothing to live for and wanted to help his friends. The guy that turned up in the suit at the end, turned up to kill him and take the money.

Might have something to do with a series 2 they are planning :-)

Ohhh, are they really? I didnt know that. Im pleased as the ending was left very much to individual interpretation of what happens.

But, when the teacher guy with the glasses (John Simm) was reviewing the video, the guy in the suit who came in at the end was pictured with someone and now I don't know who that someone was.  Was it the guy who stayed back at the end, hinting that they were involved?  After all, he stayed outside all day with no real fear.  I hate these sorts of endings, why can't it all be clear and explained properly; that could happen and there would still be room for further series.

I suspect the lady police officer will not be dead and it was a set up .

I had that thought too, but she didn't come up for air at the end.  Didn't know at that time that there was another series on the horizon.

I thought that, but it definately looked like she was dead...or she can hold her breath for a long time!!

The camera wasn't on her all the time and so very easy to move her head to one side and have a sneaky breath !

There are endless ways it could go and judging from the first series it is all abit far fetched !! I loved the way they kept on having to chop the hands and feet off the bodies :-D

Yes, it was very far fetched and so many holes in it but its fun to watch!!

I loved it. 

I assumed that he stayed behind to let the other guys with families and loved ones get away, and the guy in the suit walking up the drive with the gun was going to shoot him!  I thought the guy in the suit at the end was the guy that spoke to Alvo in the restaurant and he was on the boat when the police woman shot the guy with the pony tail that you saw on cctv/dvd player thingy!

Linz13, that was my interpretation too.

I didnt know they were making a second series but I think the female cop has to be dead...no way anyone could have survived so many gunshots to the chest at close range like that. I think possibly Quinn was going to 'play dead' in the pool in the hope that Dominic would take the money and go but it's impossible to know with the way the ending was written.

Really great series, I thought. Ok, the storyline wasn't terribly believable but the casting and acting were spot on...and the vicious little Spanish/Serbian mafia guy (Tiny Blair) was comedy gold.
