We now have contractions, she wont let me away from her so am having to sit in the box with her, bless her!
Yes vet counted at least 8 puppies she is huge so Im expecting a large litter. With any luck shell just have the 8.

Me too!  Exciting.  Mine are due next week too. :)

Just get to the good bit and now I have to go to...of all places...the DENTIST!

What's happening?

One dog came 2.07pm and a bitch at 2.15pm, both doing well. Mum is fantastic, much much better than last time. Both good weights 1lb and 1lb 2oz :-)

Hope the rest come as easy

i think pups are coming out.

Oh god, Im so relieved that first one is out. It seemed to take forever!!! Been on the phone to the vets twice lol.
Both are feeding well so Im one very happy mummy :-)

Im very sad, its the first still born Ive ever had. Worked on it for half an hour but it was only 200g and some of the skin was peeling of its face and ears so wouldnt have been fair to bring it back as I really dont think it would have survived and it just didnt look right. Absolutely gutted, even more so that it was a girl :-(

Same here. 

She seems to be having a rest now, can still feel at least 1 in there maybe even 2 or 3....fingers crossed theyre all girls then everyone on my list will be very happy people, plus Ill have a good choice of girlies.

ohhh, its all gone quiet....hope you are just busy with new arrivals and all is well...

Hi all, Total was 3 dogs, 3 bitches! I am shocked that there was only 7 in there going off the sheer size of her lol. Still 6 is a lovely manageable number for her and Im so pleased theyre all very good weights, trong and doing very well. We had to take her to the vets at 9p last night as she started to push again and I wasnt happy with the aount of time so we took her down. I thought I could feel another pup earlier on but it seems I was wrong. Vet had a feel and couldnt feel anything, then scanned her and said theres possibly a pup there than was being reabsorbed as it looked like there was something there but she couldn't see any skeleton and since Tiegan was panting so much it was hard to tell. She also said it could be the placenta but also the uterus folding down on itself?!
Gave her an oxytocin jab and waited till she started to push again, nothing came out so another feel, another digital exploration and another scan later we were sent home and she just said that placenta will come out during night if it is in there but she was certain that there wasn't anything and it was just the uterus.
So, got herhome and cleaned her and box down, she settled on down for the night :-)
I've had no sleep cos the red and pink girls are so so noisy, they will scream if theyre just a few inches away from her belly lol...looks like Ill be keeping the yellow one, which is the one I liked when it came out :-)
Im sure Ill be on here for some help over the next few days for one thing or another lol and will keep you updated....thanks everyone for your concern
