After anybody who knows a good groomer that does hand stripping in this area ? Specifically that is used to smaller dogs eg Mini Long Haired Dachies.

Thanks

Lucy

Groomers that handstrip are a dying breed!  Becoming as rare as hens' teeth these days - all the youngsters are "Whip it all off with clippers - it's easier!"
Form mini long haired dachs it should only be a matter of tidying up the pale dead stuff unless they're neutered.  Could you do it yourself? :)

They are both neutered and my mothers dogs so can't do it as don't see her that often and wouldn't know hat to do anyway !!

Then it's very difficult to handstrip neutered dogs, but they do look awful clipped. :( :(

She could get some dead coat out if she just 'combed' them with a stripping knife each day.  Or threaded an elastic band through a wide toothed comb but that pulls more than a stripping knife. :)  But my doing the head and body every day (5 minutes?) then they would always look tidy rather than covered in b*m fluff! :) :)
