Just come across this on dorwest herbs and wondered if anyone had used it for their bitches whilst whelping? If so, did you have any problems? Did it seem to help speed up contractions etc.

Just interested to see what experience people have of it

Yes Ive used it for all of my litters. Cant say if it works or not as Ive not had a litter without it.

Wirelincs have all of your litters been problem free, have you ever had any problem with contractions slowing down or stopping whilst using this? Thanks

11 litters now more or less problem free, no probs really with inertia. Had one C section in 2009 after giving birth to 9 puppies naturally she just didnt have the energy to give birth to the other 5 !!

My goodness!!! Im not surprised she was rather tired...poor girl. Did they all survive?

Thanks for your help, Ive just ordered some from dorwest. Never had any problems last litter but no harm in trying to prevent problems :-)

I've always kept this on hand when my girls whelp. If there's no pushing after 1 - 1.5 hours I give them a couple of doses and I have to say it's worked - on the other hand they may have started again naturally - who's to say?

Used it in my few litters.  2 litters born fine with no problems and one c section due to very small number of pups.  I would use it every time, don't know if it made a difference or not but would use it anyway.

Thats the difficulty with homeopathic remedies you can never prove if they have worked but at least the chances of side effects are unlikely. I agree worth a try I feel the same when using them for myself and family I have seen good improvements after use but no idea if the results would have been the same without

Wow, what a girl!!! Bless her.
Well its on its way and I will give it a go, like you said yo never know if things would be OK without it but no harm in trying it.

Thanks again everyone
