Hi can anyone give me some advise my girl started panting be restless and digging yesterday at 4pm, been up most of the night with her she is due on Thursday but she can't settle and I just wondered how long the 1st stage can  last, it's been a long time since I've done this so I am panicing a little.
was going to ring vets but I thought I'd mention it on here first.

This stage can last up to 36-48 hours so if she isn't actually contracting or straining I wouldn't worry yet. :)

Oh thanks I've been worried sick, she looks so helpless, I will probably keep posting for advice if thats ok with everyone. I'm tired myself.
