I've only ever used Petplan because I was never happy with the Kennel Club insurance... :(

I have the puppy policies that I can activate there and then for enw owners, and do ti on-line if I wish on-line with KC insurance.  I don't know fi ti si different for KCAB's as the cover notes book does say KCAB puppy cover notes.

I always give both out KC and Petplan

My daughter hasn't been able to access this forum using my ID for some reason. I have suggested she gets her own account as this does seem very friendly and helpful place to be.
Update,
Having read the replies on here she has been in touch with the Insurance Ombudsman and has been told that they think she has a good case against the Insurers (or un-insurers in this case!!!). So, that is the route she is going to take. Updates will be posted here by me as they happen.
