We live in Swansea and could well be needing an MRI machine for one of the dogs but my vet says she will have to find out where there is one. Any ideas? I know there is one in Liverpool and another in Wigan!!! but anyone know of anything closer

Blackwood have a vets called bridge vet surgery and they used to have a moblie unit which visits once a month to do MRI scans on animals,give them a ring and they will be able to tell you if it still goes there and when!

Glad to report we won't be needing MRI, x rays yesterday showed the problem. A fractured skull. Couldn't believe it when they showed me the x rays. Putting it down to when she was asleep on the sofa and fell off a few months ago.

LOL its not funny but it took me back 30 years or more. Mum would not let us drive to the pub on a friday night she would sleep on the sofa and we would ring and she picked us up. We phoned she rolled over fell off the sofa and broke her foot - she drove about 10 miles to the pub and back to pick us two up and then we had to get an ambulance to drive her to A&E as we were legless.....

If we attempted to drive to the pub she said she would call the police and shop us - knowing Mum we NEVER drove drunk she was a tarter - but right.
