I am so flattered by all of your comments and responses.........I am really pleased that I did carry on with this and try to limit the possibility of someone else having to go through the same un necessary hassle. At least Champdogs have removed him for their lists and the KC have also noted the name for their records. The bitch was young and could be used for many more litters I just hope now that this behavior is stopped before getting to this stage.......my only regret in this is that I can't name him and the Dame for all to see .........I wish I could then you would all know to look out for him and avoid him at all costs.

Thanks again to you all..........

I love the name Boscoe as well as his KC name!

Just shows it pays to push for what are entitled to, well done.

I love the name.  Mardy boy threw out the dummy by not putting the affix on, unless he hasn't got one and 'mummy' refused to let him use hers after all the agro he's caused.

If you haven't got an affix, go and get one and either just add ito pups name or change completely to something you want.  i think you can only do it once so check if you had to affix and name change at the same time (if you want to).

Enjou your pup.

Like the others say, " well done for keeping going"

Hopefully as the others said he will have been put off.

Littermates probably called " Bloomin hard work!" "Not so easy money"or " Thought it was easy!"

Well done for perseverance and success.

Why someone would think that because you didn't want to show then you shouldn't have what you paid for .. ie KC registration I can't understand.  It is worth complaining to the KC - when I bought my first puppy many years ago like you I was promised KC registration.  It didn't arrive and when I contacted the KC I was told that due to non-registration the breeder had been banned for 10 years, so I wasn't going to get her registration.  I didn't bother going to the small claims because so many people had I wasn't going to get any money, nor was I going to get the registration I'd paid for.  As a 'pet' owner I had to register her on the working register so I could complete in agility with her.  There's more than showing that needs registration and there's also you should get what you paid for!

Of course, now you would realise that at 6 weeks you wouldn't get a pup who'd been vaccinated...but then they shouldn't have been advertised as having been - but of course you shouldn't have had the pup for another couple of weeks.  My pups usually leave at 7 or 8 weeks and then the owner can take them for a vet check and first innoculation.  I recommend no worming or flea treatment the day of innoculations - I gear the worming up to be 9 and 11 weeks so the pup doesn't get overloaded - it's a lot for an immune system to cope with.  It's very difficult to find good breeders but coming on here will help with that.  I learnt a lot from my first puppy purchase, but never for one moment regretted having her - she was a one in a million dog :-)

Oooo iv just worked out where you got your puppy form as iv seen the puppy adverts.. LOL that took me ages. They are not a known well known breeder probably their first litter, but on the otherhand  the stud owner is a very nice woman and if you have any questions about your boy as he grows im sure she wouldn't mind answering them as she has lots of experience within the breed.

Well done and I hope you enjoy your little boy

Thanks again for your replys.........

I am pleased that you are able to trace the breeder without me telling everyone...I feel so strongly about what this "boy" has tried to do and want everyone to know his name. As least now I know if you want to find the breeder without me giving the name away you can. I have also registered on Champdogs today as an owner as I think this site and the advice given is brilliant !!

Oh Kimbo, that is so sad.

Such a wonderful stud dog owner she must be devastated, even though this is not my breed and I don't know the lady would you please send my (and I'm sure many others of us on champdogs) heartfelt condolences onto her.

Has she kept any of the pups her boy sired at all? I hope so it may help a little.

Pleased your boy is getting along well, but so very sad about Cooper.

I am viewing from Active topics and the Page numbers are at the bottom of the page and if I click on an earlier one I have no trouble seeing it????

There are two Active topic Links one at the top and one next to Forum index, and it is the top one I use, where you have home, breeders etc.
- By Rhodach [gb] Date 03.04.11 18:36 UTC
Finally managed to access full thread, Thanks.

Good on you sticking it out to the bitter end.

The name is down right cheeky, if you get the Breed Supplement it will tell you what the other pups were called in the litter if he registered them all.
- By paxo Date 03.04.11 18:38 UTC
Yes carrington she had already kept a pup from him...I am actually seeing him next week.
I knew cooper very well...bless him...
- By Carrington Date 03.04.11 18:41 UTC
That is a small blessing at least, see how soft I can be.........tears in my eyes now. RIP Cooper.
- By AlisonGold [gb] Date 03.04.11 19:22 UTC
