If I insure a dog, does she have to go to the vet where she had her vaccs for any treatment and for them to pay out? Or can I go to any vets despite not having her vaccs there?

As far as I am aware ANY vet, which allows for dogs taken ill on holiday, people moving house etc.
If the treatment is as a result of vac problems original vet for 1st call at least but even then you can go elsewhere for a 2nd opinion.

Yes you can go anywhere. For treatment it does not have to be the vet who carried out the vaccines

You can go to any vet but it can get a bit complicated because the insurance company will ask if your dog has been registered/ received treatment at any other vet surgery and ask for contact details.  THey will then pursue this with those vets to get your dog's history (so not to pay out for excluded/pre-existing conditions etc).  If you have nothing to hide should be ok, but might take longer for a claim to come through as they will have to check with these other vets.
