just like to know why Blue/Grey blue/Blue brindles is so popular also when you read Rare!!!! as i though blue was diluted colour from black! yet am i right that blue is SBT standard colour. and are they doing well in the shows ???

Blue is a standard colour according to the Breed Standard, Grey isn't ;) and brindles are mentioned as any shade of brindle.

They do seem to be becoming very popular with a certain section of society and I'm seeing a lot more of them around.   They aren't always of typical conformation though, at least around these parts, but that goes for all colours ;)

IMHO there is a world of difference between the blue Staffs advertised as 'Rare' and the Blue Staffs that turn up in well bred litters ;)

hi eddie luck I wanted a blue when I started researching 5yrs ago but the pigmentation round the eyes not good as they look like they have eyeliner on lol (sorry can't think of correct termonology) I haven't seen many blues at shows more blacks.The blues I see are not of breed standards more crosses I think but you never can tell(all long legged and not with the right type of owners)more for status i'm afraid

I'm assuming you mean the ones you've seen for sale haven't had dark eyerims, because according to the standard they're supposed to.

there was a blue puppy being shown at an open show a couple of weekends ago, it was a nice puppy but it seemed rather long in the leg but i was only watching the show not the judge
