Now I am back in the land of the healthy (after what seems like months & months of sickness) I have been asked to hold another Companion Show to raise money for greyhound rescue.

If anyone has any rosettes they no longer need or they want to have a clear out I would gladly take them off of you.

I did a similar post last year and it saved so much on the cost as I only needed to purchase the middles.

I have just done a quick search and found that to cater for the number of classes we would be looking at around £250 - £300 including the BIS, RBIS etc.  A lot to find and I hate taking any money away from the rescue total so I do try to find some sponsorship as well to cover any other items that are needed.

So any help would be grateful accepted

I will gladly pay for any postage.

Many many thanks.

Hi Val,

I have some you can have.

I have just placed an order with a lady who makes rosettes and it is costing just under £50 for 15 classes 1st - 6th Place (single tier knife pleat) , Best Pedigree, Best Crossbreed, Best Novelty (All three tier with printed ribbons), BIS, RBIS & BPIS (3 tier with stars and printed tiers). The price includes 2 printing blocks with the name of our rescue.

It seemed too cheap so I asked for a sample, and they are every bit as good if not better than the ones at Open Shows (if you even get one).

PM me if you want the ladies phone number.

Hi Jackie,

Yes it is me - finally after around three months of being sick (it fact it was probably about 3 weeks after the show) that I started feeling rough.  Won't go into detail too boring and whingy but surfice to say I am much better now.

I am really sorry (again) about show in November I seem fated not to attend but I am (if asked again) determined to make it 3rd time lucky.

Have been talked into doing a joint show and the Greyhound Trust who is also to benefit will be on hand with their committee to help out on the day - at last some help.

We are hoping it will be the 24th July (much earlier) but have to wait for the owner of Bicker Bar to decide if they are going to let people use it this year.  So if you are free and able to steward that woudl be grat.

Thanks Jackie

Regards val

A large amount of rosettes arrived yesterday.

I haven't look to see who they were from yet but a lot of lovely 1sts from Gundog shows.

So a big thank you.

Do you need any more or are you ok now? I have found a large stash of them, much as I keep thinking i'll put them all on a board etc, I'm not sure where these boards will live tbh.. lol

I might have a few I could let go, also yesterday I got a large and beautiful double coloured one for adult handling, but they were given to all as it was an anniversary show and I was actually 6th out of 6, so that with a different middle bit would make a nice 'specials' rosette if you pm me your address!
