We are soon to be changeing our 15 week old Boxer pup to the BARF diet but have yet to find a suitale supplier for the necks, wings, backs etc. We live in Lymington, Hampshire.
Any one got any recommendations?, even if its mail order as long as the quality is good, I do worry about being supplied with "off" parts etc.
Thanks

Hi there,
Avoid the raw hide.
I use tripe sticks which are avaliable at Focus's pets at home or knuckle bones. The tripe sticks are in packs of approx 6-7 and around £1.40 my lot love them. They are 100% natural.

Hi Pam
Are the tripe sticks fattening? Barney is on a diet so have been giving him the small rawhide sticks thinking they would be calorie free! Have tried rice cakes but they get stuck all over him LOL

Hi Gina,
My husband and I are dicussing right now.. My ansewer if theya re fattening is I don't think so.
Just looked at the packet nothing much on it except Petplus Dog Chews, Tripe sticks, the natural treat. suppler is Pet Plus Ltd, Chesham Bucks HP5 2QG.
There is actually abotu 10 pieces in it about 6-8 inches long , approx 1 inch wide. (or in metric 150 -200 mm long x 25 mm wide.)
My 2 love them.
I have only once gave Hide to my dog and it was my boxer at the time and she nearly choked to death never again.

I get my food delivered to the house from Anglian Meat Products Ltd, 0800-0183770, the deliver all over the U.K. and I am in Scotland, this comes already frozen, and I had to buy a small chest freezer for the food, I feed mine raw tripe and raw minced chicken, with a mixer the company make themselves, I also give 1 odourless garlic tablet, and 1 cod liver oil tablet, and some kelp, I dont use the chicken wings as mine dont like them, if you phone the company they will send out a free pack with some of the food they do, the kennel mixer I get is 15kg and its only £13.75 and this lasts me for ages and ages.
