There was an incident at our peaceful protest at Petworld on Saturday 29th Jan. The owner, Chris Kent, drove out in his car with colleagues in it, displaying my address in his window. He also hooted to make sure that we looked and saw it. The police were informed immediately and I have the incident number for this. My address now has a priority flag on it from the police. They have since warned him about it but he has denied it and there were no independent witnesses.
Because of this threat I will no longer be organising the protests there. I do not like giving in to intimidation but I am not prepared to take the risk. The protests will continue though as there are many other people involved and they can remain safely anonymous. Somebody else started this campaign and other people will carry on with it.
