Just had a call off my lovely vet James. He has been on a course on hearts, scanning etc advanced level reading and he now needs more practice, so has rung to ask if he can use Kyiro as being a greyhound he would be good for this.
I don't know whether Kyiro will be impressed as he is not keen on the vets but on the plus side it will also enable his heart to be kept a good eye on and more indepth scanning to take place.
It may also help kyiro with his fear of being at the vets as nothing nasty will be happening.
His first session is tomorrow. I will drop him in during the morning and pick him up in the afternoon.

I think being left at the vets (or in fact anywhere) will count as something nasty to most dogs. I would have no problem with my dogs helping out but can't you ask to stay with him and that may actually help his fear?
