I took my girl today for her last scan as she is due at the end of the week, there i met a gentleman who had bought his Terrier for her first scan to see if she was having babies, as we waited we chatted , the terrier was filthy which is fair enough , i thought that it has just been for a walk.
As we were chatting he said to me , i hope she is pregnant this time or is the pound for her, i'm fed up with wasting money on this stupid dog, all my others produce just not her, well i said nature will take it's course, no he said i really want her to have pups , i have used 3 boys on her this time as i wanted to edge my bets, is she KC i asked , yes he said the pups will be KC reg as i am a Acredited Breeder with the KC, so i asked him will you DNA the puppies, god no he said the KC don't care, one of the dogs i used was her brother as he always produces big litters, i was stunned,
Anyway the chap went in before me and when he came out, i asked him about her, no she is not AGAIN he said, so that was her last chance, i'll drop her off at thge NCDL on the way home.

I hope he does drop her off , she was very sweet and hopefully she will find a good home.

Thats awfull. I would have offered to take the poor girl home with me lol. He probably running a little puppy farm somewhere. I hope his wife cheats on him with his brother and he ends up homeless and alone just for karma grrrrrrr..

If she was only just in whelp chances are the scanner never picked any pups up :) at least if she was taken to the shelter and has got pups she will get the care she deserves as will the pups and they will all get good loving homes.

I am also stunned by this...one good reason why I dont wish to be an ab!! I know one shouldn't tar with the same brush but there seems to be far too many doing this & calling themselves accredited!!

Me neither, they are scum. I'm afraid that I would look up his breed on the ABS scheme and report him, not sure what for, probably for just being a disgrace to all other caring breeders on here ( of which there are many although you wouldn't think it to read some people constantly finding fault when they are talking through their bigotry!)

I do hope this girl finds the home she deserves :)

pity you didnt get his name when they called it...I would then have  reported the no-mark  to the KC ...disgraceful...
(not that they would do anything..)

hopefully she will get a good home where she is love for what she is not as a money maker.
just been looking at local dogs for sale and firts add that came up was "Gorgeous smooth coat black and tan Jackahuahua bitch, Dapple is now nearly three, and has decided she doesn't want to get pregnant, so we are looking for a loving pet home for her."
