how can you tell when a bitch has finished her season ?

A bitches season can range but.. usually they would have finished producing any discharge, swelling should have gone down and male dogs would take less/ no notice of her, if you are unsure with your girl id keep her on the lead for a few more days.

When was the first day of her season? If it was over 21 days ago, and the swelling's gone down and there's no discharge then giver her a bath and wash all her bedding to remove any lingering scent, and she'll probably be okay at the show. Is it benched or unbenched?

Then she is unlikely to have finished her season and will be at her most attactive so should be kept away from entire dogs.

At day 14 she's right in the middle of her season, at her most fertile period! Don't take her to the show under any circumstances! You'll be the most unpopular person there for ruining other dogs' chances.

A bitch in general is in season for 3 weeks, some longer. As others have said, your bitch is unlikely to have finished her season & is at the stage where she is ready to mate. You need to keep her away from males(& shows) for another 10 days ish.
