A while ago i noticed a few marks on my friends Dogues eyes. He is just 2 years old, the only way i can describe it is, small shiny mother of pearl type thing on the cornea of both eyes in a sickle cell shape. No discharge soreness etc, but obviously impaired vision and struggles to tell a cat from a plant pot at night. I haven't mentioned to my friend that it isnt just a scratch from a bush outside. I thought id get some info on what it actually is before i say anything. Ive googled eye disease but this is just on the cornea not retinal. Any ideas.

Sounds like dystrophies - lumps of cholestrol. :)  Don't cause a problem.  If you are concerned, then let your Vet have a look. :)

Yeh its definitely that, just looked for corneal dystrophies on the net. Few sites say reduce fatty intake, he used to get chicken mince, we used to bulk buy for each other. If he went onto dry light variety would that help?

Thanks
