This shows what goes on in puppy mills in the USA and it is the same over here. CAPS had undercover filming and they talked about how they hide things when an inspector is coming. It is very distressing to watch but a lot of positive things as well with vets and TV news involved. The place eventually lost its license to sell to dealers and pet shops but can still sell online.
It should be compulsory viewing for anyone selling or buying puppies in a pet shop. It is also why we are protesting outside these shops and would like more people to get involved and join us. Have a look at Puppy Love for other ways that you can help raise awareness.

How awful those poor dogs, i must admit i cried, i would love to get hold of that woman and her staff, how can they do that?
But the law needs to change 20 days jail and $500 fine , should be life in prison.

I forced myself to watch this and yes it is horrific. Words cannot cover the vile practices of this woman. It is easy to ignore this post and not watch it but we all know it goes on, and not only in the USA. This sort of puppy production happens in the Uk as well. I cannot begin to explain what I would like to do to people who deal in life like this. A life is nothing to them. The laws MUST be changed in all countries to stop these dregs of humanity from perpetuating their vile trade. The fine she got was an insult to the lives of those dogs who have died at her hands. It makes me feel ashamed to be a "superior" human. Somehow her behaviour makes me feel grubby.
I had some tears but tears will not help these poor poor dogs.

Mandy can I have permission to cross post this to my FB page please?
I am normally an unsentimental farming type, but that video made me feel physically sick. How can that woman and her staff sleep at night? Those poor poor dogs
I hope you don't mind but I shall repost that to a couple of other forums that I visit (and if anyone is as pedantic as my husband, yes, I realise that the plural of forum isn't forums !! lol)

:( :( :( Caesareans, spays and neuters all performed themselves with no anaesthetic! That poor dog with its side ripped open, all the dead dogs. That is absolutely the worst case of neglect and cruelty I've ever seen. What punishment can ever be enough for those people :(

I'm sorry, I couldn't watch any more of it, it was too sickening. This wasn't just one person being unspeakably cruel, there were lots of staff even in the five minutes I watched. How on earth could all those people be so matter of fact about running a concentration camp? I guess we know the answer. Thanks to CAPS for their work, I will never be in any doubt as to which animal charity to support as long as they are there.

Isn't it? I think it is if relating to message board type forums like this?

Please cross post anywhere and everywhere and thank you for doing it. It was an Australian anti puppy farming page on Facebook that I saw it on in the first place. The more people that know what goes on in these places, both abroad and over here, the more people that will be involved in trying to do something about it.

Anyone wanting to donate to CAPS this is the link, they are not the same people as CAPS in the UK :-)
http://caps-web.orgYou have to use an american zip code to donate, for some bizarre reason it won't let you continue without it. I went for 90210 (Beverly hills) lol
Apparently 'forum' is Latin and the plural is 'Fora' lol

Probably the nearest equivalent organisation over here is Puppy Love. They are on a smaller scale than CAPS in the USA but everything is big over there! I printed off more of their leaflets to distribute this morning.

I'm going to be brave and try and watch this but not sure if I'll make it to the end.

Didn't make it to the end - just terrible for all that pain inflicted 20 days !! Maybe JH could consentrate on these sort of people rather than the ones trying to do the right things by breeds.

I've cross posted it onto my fb page from Merlot's fb page now... Horrific and mentioned that it also happens over here.. Hoping that if it puts one person off purchasing from a puppy from a place like this, then good work for us...
Absolutely horrifying and as someone on the video says its just the tip of the iceberg :-(

Well I cross posted to my f/b page and am sad that only two people have watched this. Pretending it isnt there wont make it go away. 17 mins watching is nothing compared to these poor dogs lifetime.

A good breeder in a lifetime of breeding doesn't produce the number of puppies these places produce in months or a year.
Yet I know that good breeders pare back their breeding to a minimum that they can afford in order to be 'responsible'.

What a way to treat another living creature let alone our best friend.... ......awful awful people. The ref to a concentration camp is another thing we can never forget. It makes me want to believe there is a hell....
