I haven't used my car in a few month due having my baby by c-section , today I decided to give it a clean before I put baby and her pram in.
However the boot is soo full of hairs :) which normally doesn't bother me but I can't put a pram in as there are millions :( . I've been on over an hour hoovering , and rolling one of those sticky things around trying to clean them out , I've gotton about half cleared but the rest won't budge , any ideas would be very much appreciated :) . I've given up for today now though as I can't feel my fingers , and baby needs feeding soon , she won't appreciate a cold mammy I don't think :) .

I've been struggling with this too, not the baby front but hairs on the carpeted sides of the rear of the vehicle..
I want to sell mine and the only way which seems possible is valeting it..

I don't know what they call them, but the rubber grooming mitt with little bobbles on (Does that make sense?)often rubs them out of the carpet pile quite well. Still laborious, but it does work on my carpet tiles when the hoover refuses to touch them.

Try a zoom groom, slicker brush or rubber gloves to wipe them off. I tried one of the sticky roller things to get hairs off clothes, didn't find them much good.

Thanks , never thought of using my zoom groom , hubby will have to try the rubber gloves because I'm allergic to them , thinking that be a good thing :) . Will set him to work tomorrow :) .

I swear by my slicker brushes, fantastic things for carpets.  The finer car carpets you're probably better with the zoom groom though, or maybe start with one and finish with the other (done that before, it worked well!).

Don't own one of these zoom groom's, would that work well on the felt in the cars? I'm thinking a slicker would be too much for that part... If the weather holds out tomorrow i'm going to give it a good going over too.. Might save myself some valeting money here.

Would a zoom groom work on hairy fleeces? I wear hoodies and fleeces a lot and they are always covered in dog hair, I've tried washing, sticky tape, hoovering, brushing, you name it!

I have always found the sole of a training shoe to be brilliant for picking up unwanted hair. It's something most people have to hand too. Hope you manage to sort it

The zoom groom picks up longer fluffy hair on fleeces but don't know about lab type dog hairs.

why not treat yourself & your car to a full valet? they are pretty good at getting hair out and making the car like new.

Thats what i'm going to do, really can't be bothered any more and its soooo cold right now and who wants to be standing outside in this.. ?

It's Cavalier and American cocker hair so fairly long, might be worth investing in one, thanks!
