Don't post very often these days due to work commitments but have just come across the site above and wondered if anyone else has seen this site ? What are peoples thoughts ??
Not sure how one person can be an all breeds specialist and am horrified to see a massive puppy farmer being allowed to advertise on there...

[

So much for the line "should only breed to improve the breed. Meaning that the breeder only breeds from dogs which display excellent characteristics of the breed." Wonder where his cross breeds fit into this.....???

One can only hope that people with a keen interest in a breed, go through the breed clubs for help and advice when looking for a puppy.... although I do sometimes feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall :-(

Not a site that I would recommend or nor would I give them extra advertising on here. :(

I think most have us have.  It's been going for years.  But, as westcoast points out, it isn't sensible to give them publicity.

Looks like it is a marketing ploy to get people to display their banner which contains 3 links back to their website. Very similar to those website "awards" which were all the rage 10 or more years ago.

It would appear you can even get this Award for designer cross breeds !

Stumbled onto their forum a few years ago and virtually gave myself a heart attack. Head and brick wall comes to mind.

If someone really wants to see the bad side of dog breeding one only needs to visit their forums in the breeding section.

I did write some articles re responsible breeding citing soem fo teh KC articles etc, in their encyclopedia section, but ti's one of those where anyone can edit and add stuff so soon got dumbed down.

After personal attacks by one forum member I unregistered.

Should only breed to improve the Yorkie Poo breed. Meaning that the breeder only breeds from dogs which display excellent characteristics of the breed.

Hm yeah right, so how would anyone improve a breed that isn't a breed and never will be?!

The more I have read it, the more gobsmacked I have become....

Would love to know whose 'hair brained scheme' it was to set up this site of complete and utter rubbish....
