Does anybody know of any breeders for either the American Beagle or a Labradoodle? We are interested in getting a dog and have small children, one of which suffers from eczema. Any suggestions would be grateful.

Is your childs eczema brought on by dog hair? If not then you should be able to broaden your choice of breeds. If it is then the finer the hair the more likely it is to cause problems.

i Once sold a puppy to a family where the wife was alergic to some dogs. On further investigation it was found she was fine with double coated breeds like mine, but shortcoated breeds made her chesty, as she was alergic to the skin cells. A lot of smooth coated breeds seem to flake a bit at times, and this is what affected her! Elkhound fluff round the house at moulting times was fine :)
