Ooh, that's fairly low for my breed again!

We have 84 that's quite a good number for our breed considering the current climate

High 90s, normal for us these days.  Totally different to a few years ago when if there were 5 in a class it was a lot!!!

Why do they do this? In the ring before tollers - 129 dogs. Before AV rare breed - 128 dogs. So obviously they are going to be at the same time! Tollers usually have the most entered in rare breeds, so why do they have them being judged at the same time? last year most of the AV rare breed entry wasn't there because all the rare breeds were being judged!
Tollers have 49 entered and rare breeds 51.

Personally i don't think show societies class rare breeds as very importent, with our TM's were are always 4th or 5th in the ring, some times hard to get to the group.
Once we had a judge that was supposed to be in our ring all day ,he had 3 breeds then us so we waited, got to 2 oclock and another judge for another ring had not turned up so our judge was taken to do them first, he returned to judge us a 4.40 we missed the group and was told by the society that non CC breeds were not as inportent as CC breeds.

It's very annoying.  Tollers often have over 40 entered, alot more than some ticket breeds!  All but 2 champ shows have toller classes now.

Its not just Tollers, they have managed to time rare breeds to be on at the same time as Kooikers every year at Manchester so far.  I wasn't going to bother entering this year as its just throwing money away, but as it was a free second entry I did.  Rare breeds are very muched classed as the poor relatives at most shows, even below AVNSC (Any Variety Not Seriously Considered). :(

Yes, kooikers and braccos will clash as well!
