I wonder if anyone knows of a trainer who does handling training for Juniors .. One to One or regular groups ?  A local junior is very keen, I have been lending him my dogs for local open shows and he is really keen to progress. I am no junior handling expert so can only help him so much and local ring craft isn't focused on juniors at all. His mum is happy to travel with in a reasonable distance of Manchester and I can lend a dog .. we are in North West (just North of Manchester).

Can't help with dog or club but if you have a look on http://www.juniorhandling.co.uk/ and go to JH Extra there is a list of training classes.

Hope she finds someone to help.

Marina's website as above is excellent

Look at the YKC site too http://www.ykc.org.uk/competing/handling

If he is not already a member, it's worth him joining and attending some of the activity weekends.  They have some brilliant trainers and very low cost too.

YKC was brilliant for my daughter. :)  Jackie Hurley has written a book about junior handling http://www.ourdogs.co.uk/acatalog/Showing___Judging.html and used to run classes many years ago.
