I remember seeing at a show ages ago some bedding which was similar to vet bed but was a shaggy wool type design .... similar to this
http://www.ideas-4-pets.com/herdwick-comforter-pure-wool-dog-bed-ott-p-1924.html The thing is I want a brown one ( to hide dirt and to go with the decor !!) but it seems these particular ones only come in grey. Just wondered if anyone knew of another company who makes them ?
Claire :)

Have you gone through the stands which have been or are due to be at Crufts to see if they have an online store? Worth a shot.
Just from a quick google search I found a woollen rug/mat for dogs but was only in cream(silly colour if you ask me)

Phew! I thought it was for dogs' beds!! :) :) :)

Looking at other posters, this is probably not what you want as thought it was for the dogs.

Bronteglen is what I found, if they can do a darker colour its what you're looking for, but they don't advertise it.
Could you not just go for a normal woollen shaggy rug? Ikea have some cheap ones in right now.

I could, as long as its washable. Ive got a lovely big wool rug in the loft but its cream (silly colour) and I cant wash it so thats where it will stay !! I will take a look at Ikea.
VET BED fleece non-slip SENIOR GOLD 7+ vetbed WHEAT

Found this on ebay.

Good ol' Herdwicks come in grey and are unwilling to be dyed!
www.bronteglen.co.uk do nice wool beds from what I recall made from Merino wool, much easier to dye lots of different colours!
