hi all we are looking after our friends labrador for 3 weeks while she is on honeymoon
She has been sick and had 2 bouts of diarrhoea,we think she must of ate something while we walking her.
What's the next course of action please,do we starve her for a day.
She seems alright in herself,as i type she is playing with our dog
many thanks for taking the time to read this

Happy new year to you too... poor Holly.... if she is anything like her sister Xionee, she will have eaten something disgusting, but it could also be that she is still recovering from her spay a couple of weeks ago, see how she is in the morning, and maybe just give her a small handfull of breakfast. about a quarter of her normal amount... nothing for the rest of the day (no treats) and maybe a small amount of well boiled/overcooked rice in the evening.. If she keeps this down and poo's begin to firm up.. keep her on this for a couple of days to allow her tummy to settle

the two litters were chalk and cheese. Holly is very like her mum (Tia) in her behaviour and mannerisims... very affectionate, but both Holly and my Xionee have a lot of their dad in them (my precious Late Ollie) and they do like to be quite 'in your face' lol.. and dare I say, quite demanding in their quest for cuddles and attention :-) (Ollie's little legacy) :-)
Buzz is a combination of mum (Wish) and dad.. both are very laid back creatures, Wish is an ultra chilled girl
Its only for 3 weeks lol... you will do just fine :-)

Its funny that fiona said holly is just like tia,When we first came up to yours tia was always trying to snatch cuddles with fiona lol.To be fair they have both been well behaved.Trying to talk fiona round to getting a other dog in the future.Would you recommend that csj food?

I replied to your other post about the CSJ, and yes, I would recommend it... I did feed it for a while, but the cost of getting it up to Scotland was a huge issue, so I bought £700 worth (including a huge discount for bulk) which was around 50 bags.. but storage was a problem, as it attracted mice.. so I stopped using it.. I think I am still listed on the website as a supplier
