Do most of you start worming pups at 2 weeks old with Drontal Puppy? The product info advises this, as does the vet, but just wanted to ask if that is what people all do. Mine are growing really well but still seem very small and Mum is still stimulating them for the loo etc. Many thanks! I will of course follow the dosage instructions, and know to worm Mum at the same time with Drontal +. I couldn't use Panacur at the end of the Pregnancy as it doesn't agree with Mum, but she's always been fine with Drontal.

I normally wait until 3 weeks but last time I started at 2 weeks 4 days. Also use Drontal.

Always start at day 14 with Panacur 10% suspension.  Never had any problems, and that's with the tiniest pups going.

I don't want to force nasty tasting liquid into pups that haven't even started solids yet -their first experience of something "foreign" should be pleasant. I.e. I wean first, then worm pretty much straight after.

I think I did 2.5 weeks, then 5, then 8.

I worm the bitch through the last 3 Weeks of pregnancy and two days Post whelping with Panacur so don't start until 3 weeks with pups.
