My dachhund as just started snapping at people in the last week and a half. He never did this before. It has only been a couple of people that he has done this to but he has never done this before. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have him checked out by a vet, Dachs are prone to back trouble and it could be he is hurting and the snaping is to stop people touching him. He could also have some other trouble, dogs do not change their tempraments over night, and the most likley cause is health. There is a chance it may be someother reason but I'd go for a through health check first. Jackie

perhaps you might consider registering since your posting doesn't really provide much information about your dog to figure out what might be wrong. Such as:
How old is he? (old dog or young dog)
The people he's been snapping at, what have they been doing? Sitting alone, petting him, coming in the door, trying to pick him up?
Is it specific individuals that he's taken a dislike to?
Is he in good health? Dachs have troubles with their long backs and disc trouble causes much pain.

Snapping can be a sign of aggression, pain, fear, illness, and even tiredness. So more details are really needed to try to determine what the cause could possibly be.
