This is more than a coincidence now but that last few years, when we have had snow, my gsd spayed bitch leaks for a few days after being out and exercised in the snow, she doesnt eat it tho.
Has anyone else experienced this? The vet put her on Incurin for a few months and it stopped it but it definately started the last few times when we have had snow.

Yes, my two cockers only ever have accidents in the house (sometimes when asleep) after having been out in the snow. I was also wondering if this happened to other dogs - last year we worried that they might have some kind of infection, but it's just happened again, so we know that it must have something to do with the snow.

Slightly different but my bitches pee for Scotland when it's snowing! They seem to want to squat repeatedly (up to 6 times when in the garden for just a couple of minutes!!). Very odd and stops as soon as the snow goes!!

Ah that's interteresting, so its not just my bitch then.  I have another bitch but it doesnt happen to her and I have seen her eat the snow when she is excited.

I have the same problem with one of my girls too. dry for ages then she has accidents, when asleep. after being out in the snow or after an extra long walk. I was also starting to be a bit concerned until I tied it all in

I wonder if they are sensitive to the cold and dont fully empty their bladders ?
We ar having problems with one of our cats as she seems to hate the snow and is using the hall as her toilet at the moment ! The other cat is fine and goes out in all types of weather !

I ve got the same problem with one of my cats ljs needless to say its princes burmese lotus ! Good idea about the dogs not fully emptying their bladders though.
Mind if I had to go out side I would be looking for the bucket indoors

Our female cat hates the snow and will only go out if absolutely desperate...we caught her peeing in the outside drain this morning, obviously couldnt dig a hole through the snow and ice!!
