will be starting to worm my girl tomorrow and i carnt find on here a post about weights so i need to ask do i give my girl the amount of her weight now or mateing weight?

Disagree, sorry!  And I have been doing it for years and years!

Bitch is weighed on day 40, and I work out dose from that weight, and keep to it until the end. Always have, and it's always been successful.  I wouldn't dream of using pre-pregnancy weight, the dose would not be strong enough.

Hi i'm sorry I supposed I just assumed it was the same sorry Whitelilly. Oops I've been giving mine the dose at maiting I cant quite remember what her weight was at date 40 now. Do you think it would be ok if I use the temperature in the middle of mating and now? Hope her puppies wont be full of worms now :(

ok thanks jean will get her weighed tomorrow as ive given her wormer already today LOL she was 34kg and looking at her i bet she 37kg she looks massive and her tum is hanging right down and very hard...if her weight is that would i give it her at that weight every day ? i dont up the amount had she starts to weigh more? xxx

hubby just took her to be weighed she is 37kg i was right lol so i need to work it out to that weight ,she was 33kg not 34kg so that 4kg already :-O i dread to think what shes going to look like at the end of xmas ,bless her! xx

No, I don't keep upping the dose.  Once I work out what they need from their weight at day 40, I stick to it until the end.  Even the two days after whelping.  It's worked for years!  :-)

thanks jean ,ive been wondering! these girls tend to go about 4days early so do i just give the 2days after pups born ? or carry on so shes had it for 25 days? xx

However early mine whelp (often a whole week), I still only give Panacur for 2 days after pups are born.

When you do the pups at 14 days don't forget that mum goes back to adult dose, and only for the one day.
