I was thinking about helping out on one of the shifts over the Xmas period with the dog handling. I was wondering if anyone fancied doing it with me. Its in central London and would of thought it would have a good team spirit up there.

Yes I will be there with my 2 daughters, the night shifts hopefully.

Text me, I'll join ya! I'm working the Ambulance 'Drunk tank' shifts too (Joy!!??) But I'm sure I can squeeze in some time for this and it'll be nice to redress the balance and help those in need and not just p@***d office workers ;O)

Hey, did you both manage to sign up for this?
Was there yesterday and the day before, not with the dogs though, but driving guests to and from hospitals and various chemists.
Will definately do again, they were short of volunteers yesterday so will sign up next year for the last couple of days again.
Today the centre closes, so they are all back out to fend for themselves on the streets.
Saw plenty of dogs being walked around the grounds though, a very popular volunteer role apparantly.
It is so worth thinking about doing if anyone has two days spare over the Christmas period next year.
