Just wanted to say a BIG THANKYOU to everyone who gave me advice when I was mating my Champion Bitch. She missed this time last year when she was mated but this weekend we took her for a scan (shes 28 days) and she is confirmed in whelp!! We had her progesterone tested as we had to travel by ferry for the matings and thankfully she took! I know we still have a long journey ahead of us as soo much can go wrong before and after the whelping but I am just grateful to everyone who helped me during that time.

Thankyou..just starting to get things ordered now as the pups are due 8th Jan and want to get everything in especially with this weather!

Me too Jo, just worried with all this snow and puppies due on the 8th of Jan. Going to order a whelping box today along with heat pad vet bed and wormer to get me started.

So glad it worked out.

Wish me luck (needed to keep runway temps above 20'F) too, as I am flying out to New York on Thursday with my maiden champion bitch, on day 10 and flying back on 21st, day 22, so hoping to cover all likley bases.
