I foolishly dragged myself out to the shops.. I must have been as mad as all the others..
The shops were mental today in my area.. My feet are killing me and I never got near as much as I would have like to in the house as spent so much time at the shops..
Better not moan eh? :-)))as it will be over before we know it..
Can't wait for Xmas now though.
Hope you are all ready.
Pam
I am totally finished apart from the wrapping - about half of this to do, can't seem to get into the xmas spirit apart from alcoholic kind - lol - i'm more looking forward to me pups :D

Hi Pam,
Well I had a great time doing my food shopping in Asda. It wasn't too busy, felt like a normal quiet weekday, got everything I wanted and no long queues at the checkouts. Mind you I did go at 1.30AM this morning :) :D :D
I think I did the right thing. Cars have been queuing for a couple of miles in all directions most of today waiting to get into Asda ever since their car park was announced FULL at 8.20am

Merry Xmas

Phew! Shopping all done on Friday.
Oh, you lucky people who have a Tesco, an Asda or a Sainsbury's! Our local Safeway, what a drag! All the disabled spaces full of cars with no blue cards, cut up in another part of the car park, then <censored> nothing on the <censored> shelves!
Now the car won't start (damp, methinks), so what we've got will have to last! :(

Snorri,
My mate Rog used to carry 'inconsiderate b@st@rd stickers around with him, to stick on cars taking up spaces with out the apropriate cards in the window!
He was also an antagonistic git though, loved to run people over in his electric wheelchair!
Man do i miss that guy........
Happy Xmas

Hi all, I took the kids into town yesterday - it was packed! we had to go to get hubby a pressie from the boys as they like to choose their own, so yet another year he is going to unwrap, with complete surprise, a tobelorone!!! Well it was that, or the 'old spice gift set'

the boys have very fixed ideas as to what they think Dad's like!!! I had to face Iceland as I still had bits to get, we shopped at 11.30 and they delivered it a 2pm- How's that for service! Bit of a queue but not too bad at all, hopefully I can say the same later - I like to get the veg fresh, so have to face the crowds again-on second thoughts , though, I think I will go to the Farm Shop! can't see there being too many crowds, but you never know! I sent my ever suffering hubby out to Sainsbury's this morning. He went at 9:00, and came back in less than one and half hours (and that store is 8 miles away):). I went this afternoon to our local Somerfield to buy orange juice which he had forgotten and didn't have to queue to get out! Either we timed it right or everybody else round here bought their stuff the other day. Either way, I consider we were lucky:D
