my bitch was mated on 21 st of october last day of mating but today I've noticed a clear sort of sticky discharge on her 'flower' it's clear and no odour is coming from it she's had a few previous phantoms and had missed and on the times of phantom pregnancies I've never noticed this discharge before is this a positive clear indication of pregnancy or a really good phantom pregnancy what other signs should be expected at this stage any help on this subject appreciated thanks

Hi My bitch was also mated on the 21st October (last of 3 ties).I took her for a scan on day 28 where pregnancy was confirmed. My girl also had the discharge you're describing. I took her to the vets because I was worried and he said it's a very good indication of pregnancy and nothing to worry about. It's when its green/black is the time to worry. So far my girl would hardly eat anything from third week to fifth. Now she is eating like a pig. Her abdomen is already massive but she is a toy breed. I have noticed that she is following me around a lot more.  Have you had your girl scanned?

so she will be about 5weeks? some get morning sickness but alot dont! has she gone off her food or been sick? her boobs might just be starting to swell and her nipples pinker ,but all can be the same with a phantom...but ive not known a girl to have a clear discharge and it be a phantom ,have you thought about a scan?

Hi sorry not been on here for a while to reply i'm hoping to get her scanned next week at some time but what i've noticed today the discharge has stopped how long is this discharge supposed to last is it only supposf to last o for only a week or could she be cleaning it up well as she's licking herself a lot now is this another phantom any help on how long does this discharge is supposed to last thanks to everyone who answers my question

it dont last long ,why have  you waited so long for scan? (just wondered :)..)
i too had my girl scanned on fri at day 28 and we saw pups :) ,the longer you leave it the less you see. i think your at the stage now were you will know shes in whelp if not now by next week she might be alot bigger ;)
