Hi, can anybody help me out with information on canine or pet fosterers? a friend of mine is in need of help as her partner is in hospital and its not know how long for.

Little Dog Rescue may be able to help, they have an extensive database on foster carers i'd give them an email.

P.s Im not 100% sure if they will only help if they are actually rehoming the dog, worth a try though.

If the dog has insurance there is usually a clause which will pay for kennels in such circumstances.

many thanks for the replies i'll give my friend the info -
not entirely sure if the dog is insured but he is currently in kennels although they dont really want this to be a long term thing as the dog (as with most others ) wont cope with a long term stay in kennels, there is no indication of how long the hospital stay will be.

Just a thought, not sure if this is something breed rescue do, but they have a lot of foster homes they use, would your friends breed club be able to help in the interim?

thanks suejaw i'll tell them and explore that one too, i wasn't sure if breed rescues did fostering but i guess you dont know if you dont ask. x

What area is ur friend in and how far can the dog travel ?
