hi anone got any tips about puppies 2 little bits that have,nt dropped well 1 has but one i can feel but it,s still up and has,nt come down the pup is 6mths and isa very good type and was to be shown.Is there still time for it to drop or should it be down now?

Have to agree with the others by six months most Cocker Spaniel Boys testicles will have dropped by now.

Hi, I think you should probably take him to the vets for a check up, as they will be the best person to advise you. It should really have descended by now. If it is retained, he will have to be castrated.

I have known Cockers to "drop" as late as 10 or 11 months so it's not impossible that the missing one will come down, especially if you can feel it higher up. However, there's a good chance it won't come down now - unilateral cryptorchids are not uncommon in Cockers. There's no need to rush into castration though - give it a little more time (say until 12 months) & see what happens.

I agree with JaneS leave it until 12 months if it's not dropped down by then, it never will, I feel.

Ok I know this is not nice for you but he might like it,tTry massaging the area when sitting watching TV sometimes this can help to Release the testical,
The massaging can move the testical in side slightly enableling it to drop into place but no Guarantees of course but your have a happy puppy. lol
