Topic Dog Boards / General / Insurance for Dog Walkers

I am mulling over setting up a dog walking/sitting/caring enterprise as there is a lot of potential business in this area, and I have contact with others here in the same sector.

However, having had an unwelcome brush with the law & the DDA last year with my own dog (it was ludicrous, and dismissed, but it wasn't a pleasant experience) I definitely wouldn't undertake anything without insurance in the present climate.

Can anyone recommend a trustworthy insurer? I have already asked Cliverton for a quote. Are there any others trusted by professionals?

I should add that none of the others here are insured or CRB checked.

I'm with pet business insurance who will also cover family members who may work for me in a voluntary capacity. (ie if i'm unwell)
