Does any one have any suggestions on promoting hair growth on my dogs tail. The breed i have are supposed to have long flowing tail coats, but my other dogs have been pulling at it when they play and its gone a little sparce. Shes only 8 months but ive seen dogs at her age with fabulous tail coats. Any suggestions would be grateful.

theres a similar thread running in the showing section :) if you find the mirracle coat growing formula please let us know, suggestions so far are yumega, restore, seakelp and my suggestion of Evening primrose and gold label 3 oils :)
What breed is she?
Has she lost her puppy coat yet?

I was going to ask that if she is a Gordon I think the growth of tail hair is often not complete until adult.
she is a bichon. she still has her puppy coat. but ive seen dogs of her age with fabilous tail coats and im thinking is it something thats given to them to grow a better tail.
thank you for your reply i will keep you informed etc. i will post any things that may or not work, on here

'time' something that thankfully is free. ;)
If she's not lost her puppy coat yet, maybe not be too worried at the moment, her adult coat will start catching up/coming through. Try and keep the others off her tail and you'll see results.
Just an update on what ive tried. I bought the 3 oils and have been giving it to her. Also i Purchased a shampoo in boots called alpecin its a caffeine shampoo and ive been bathing her tail daily and there has been a suffient amount of growth in the 2 weeks ive been using it.
