Hi, does anyone have a dog with IBD? I am just wondering as it's a possibility with my dog, but he doesn't have any vomitting or diarrhoea though he is on zantac as having a problem with stomach acid. He's just so reluctant to eat. Be interesting what symptoms other dogs have with IBD. Thanks.

I had a Leo with IBD.  Symptoms were lethargy, vomiting bile, severe diarrhoea, wouldn't eat, and extreme weight loss.

I know there are varying levels of severity, and sometimes treatment can be as simple as changing food.

Thanks. He definately has lethargy/not eating. He was vomiting bile before they put him on zantac. My vet says you get diarrhoea if it's in the lower bowel and if not then  you don't. It's just a theory at this stage so thanks for your reply. How easily was your dog treated?
