I wonder those GSD breeders out there..Is there any health check available to look for the possibility of passing CDRM onto pups? I heard something about a DNA test..anyone know of it?

The reason I am asking (In case some of you thought I was thinking of getting a GSD pup! . . .I'm not !!) Is that I have just had some very bad news of a Pup (BMD) of mine who seems to have it. Not something I would ever want to pass on so if there was some teasting available I may consider having my BMD's done to make sure.
Not at all common in other breeds mainly a GSD problem but I would not like to be responsible for making it worse in another breed.
