Hi All

Somebody has advised i try robbie on flaxseed oil as they say its good for the skin and also can help anal gland issues i thought maybe its worth a try but not sure where i would get this from, have googled it and again it says good for dogs but no sites where you can buy it from.
Any ideas or anybody that has also used this?

Holland and Barrett sell it. Just googled it and it brings that place up along with many other health food stores. You can get either oil or capsules.

I tried this with my Dobermann for his itchy skin. Gave him awful explosive dire rear. He cannot tolerate any food with flaxseed/linseed in either. I've also heard that it can actually make some dogs itchy that weren't itchy otherwise!

Holland & Barret or any health food shop - my dogs have some each day in their food.

If I were you I would avoid flaxseed and use Fish body Oil with a high EPA and DHA content. Dogs have to convert the ALA in flaxseed (linseed) into Omega 3s and some dogs cannot do this. vitamin E should also be included or fed alongside.

I get mine from Healthspan
