I think you will find many breeders are reluctant to let puppies go as Christmas presents. You must have heard the saying "Dogs are for Life not just for Christmas"
I know I would be very reluctant to let any of my puppies go in these circumstances

Yes, unfortunatelly as soon as you say the word "gift" it equates with Christmas Present and "unwanted" by New Year!!

Also it isn't the best time to have a pup anyway, as there is usuallly so much going on, it is not easy to keep an eye on the pup, cook dinner, keep pup away from kids presents etc. plus there is no relaxing watching telly as pup will want wees or poos or to eat something.

The thought of having had my puppy Banya at Christmas makes me heave a big sigh of relief that we DIDN'T LOL!!! :)
