what a week i have had, came home from a show on sunday night, the dog i took to the show off her food on monday then tuesday sickness, wed starting to eat again, then the same pattern for the next one off food one day , throw up the next eat the day after has gone through my whole pack plus a small amount of the runs as well, been to the vet and he said he could not understand it to go as quickly from one dog to the other, only 3 so far not got it two of them refused their food today, so expecting sickness tomorrow,
the ones that are now eating on chicken, rice and pro biotic yogurt and starting to want to play again,
just found out someone else from the show her dogs have gone the same way ,and vet no idea what is wrong.

not funny at 3am cleaning the walls and floor after an akita threw up and exploded out the other end, but at least he is a lot better this morning.

Amazing how quickly this type of thing spreads, makes you wonder if someone had taken a dog to the show that wasn't 100% ( very selfish of them)
Hope things settle down quickly for you all.

I've had this sort of thing go through my lot too last year.  Most unpleasant experience!  They dropped like flies.  I managed to keep my old girl away from the others and fortunately she didnt get it.

I followed a couple of ladies into a show a couple of years ago and some of their dogs walked in with them and the rest were in a big trolley.  I could hear coughing then suddenly realised it was coming from the trolley.  I heard the friend of the lady with the dogs ask if her dogs were coughing, and the owner said 'yes they've all been doing it for few days now!' I thought great!!  I did an about swift turn and off they toddled into the show.  :(

I wonder how many dogs she infected that day with what was clearly KC.

There is no way I would take a sick dog to a show.

Hope your dogs are all soon on the mend :)
