Hi i am new to champdogs so hello, i have 2 dogs a 4 yr old rottweiler, and a new puppy a staffordshire bull, who is 5 months old, my question is about my stafford, she is well in her self as crackers as always, but this morning we woke up and she had developed lumpy fur? I know this sounds strange but she has no fleas i have checked plus she is flead, the bumps arent raised on her skin its just her fur?? and its on her back her back legs too?? She looks like a stray dog! I for the life of me have no idea what it could be?? She has no sore patches she has no fur loss, she is most definetly not off her food! I have tried brushing her bathing her, nothing it just goes all tufty again??

Thank you very much for your time x

Hi Silverwillow, could she have irritated herself on something while out last night?  My staff gets lumpy legs like cellulite when she has been near nettles.  It doesn't seem to bother her but she is very lumpy for a while.

Sounds very much like something has irritated her skin.
Both my Staffords have had fur that looks as you have described in the past.  Tufts sticking out, but no apparent skin irritation or bites, etc.
