i was just wondering wot would be a good name for my cavalier king charles pup he is bhlemin with a ruby dot on top of his head.

Anything but Charlie, not that it's a bad name, just so popular that personally I would rather have something less common. I'm sure as his personality comes out the perfect name will suggest itself. With my first Cavalier I wanted something regal, and we ended up with Henry. :-)

Popularity on a name depends on the location - I love the name Henry but I know quite a few Henry's!  but I hardly know any Charlie's except mine !  He's also called Chas or Charles when he is being a tad norty!  Max is a very popular dogs name but I don't know any other Max - plus IMO there is only one Max in my eyes :)  Not sure many Connor's around though?

What is popular in one area is not necessarily in another I guess! 

My next pup I want something more unusual and its causing a real headache plus not helped that I am prone to change my mind!  So peeking at this thread ;)

Love Archie and Alfie but again know dogs already in my breed with this name.

One thing's for sure, I'm never naming one Milly - again, a lovely name, but I groom 3 cocker spaniels all called Milly! :-D
