Hi guys know that there a loads of posts like this but just wanted some advice. My girl is now 57 days, last night she is really crying and whinning, panting and unsettled. She had a clear liquid dripping everynow and then from her back end and when she went out would do about 3 wee's at a time. I stayed awake with her all night but nothing and now she is just lying there sleeping, could this be just the 1st sign of labour starting and I might have a few more hrs wait until anything really happens

Looks as though she is starting (the clear liquid should be the mucus plug) and yes it can be a good 24-48 hours from these first symptoms before the first whelp arrives, just don't leave her now and best of luck, pups are on the way! :-) Make sure she can keep getting out to the garden she will feel that she needs to empty herself, please watch out for a pup being whelped out there though, if dark take a torch with you, the first pup is often not delivered in the whelping area.

hi my little girl was the same. when she starts digging then it wont be long. my little girl started digging at the sofa at 4.30am and 12hours after she started to have her pups and by 7.30 we had 4 cute pups and are all doing well

Well after a long few days of second guessing my girls every move she went into labour last night at midnight and delivered herself 10 babies within 3hrs, quite and amazing site. Both mum and babies are doing well just now so just keeping a close eye on them and hope everything continues the same

well done to your girl :) wow 10 your going to need your rest too now ready for when their 4weeks on ;-) thats if you can tho ,ive never been able to sleep every slight noise wakes me up LOL xx
