My hubby take a flask of coffee and a bottle of milk with him to work. He uses an old Oasis juice bottle and it often gets quite disgusting. He has quite a few hanging about the kitchen and gets a tad irate if I throw any away. Does any one know where I could get a nice bottle (or two) that is meant to be reused and washed with a screw lid about the size of an oasis bottle? Just so the kitchen looks nicer and he has something that is easy cleaned...after a few times with milk sitting in it his bottles are stinking and he uses them again anyway.

Outdoor shops like Millets, Mountain Warehouse etc sell stainless steel bottles in a variety of sizes/colours - meant for water, but much easier to stelilise than an old plastic bottle! Might be dishwasher-able but I'm not sure. Prices are around £5 upwards. I have one for water, for myself & dog, when walking in the summer.

Have you tried a bike shop? The water bottles might just do the job.

These look quite good - and would keep it cool
from Lakeland

or this one

You might want to warn him about reusing bottles (I do it all the time I have to say) scare him with this :-) Although he is more likely to be poisoned by bacteria in the bottle if they get really yucky.

I do like those Lakeland ones...I'll have to keep an eye out in the shop next time I am passing by.
I don't think he really cares about the germs etc...I keep telling him to use something else but he doesn't listen...typical I suppose....:-)

I used to have the same problem taking milk to work, now if I take milk to work for my cereal i take one of my little ones drinking cups http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/first_cup_4_months___/ easy to wash and dont leak ...... although your hubby might not be too keen on being seen with one, especially if you buy him the pink one lol !
