my girl is on day 8 and ive just checked when her booster is due and it around 14 jan so when we breed her ,her pups will only be 2weeks old, and i know she carnt have it done she will be feeding them ,i also know they will do it up to a month after that date but pups will still be here and i dont know if she will be letting them have a short suckle still so ,im thinking i get her done asap but will she be ok to mate shortly afer having it done ,she is very flerty and swollen and i dont know if she might mate around day 10/11 like her mum did? ,i know i should of checked this before :( but i didnt :( so not sure what to do ???? xx

My vet will do a booster within 3 months of due date,as I asked her the same question when we hoped to have had a litter last March (which she missed and had a phantom pregnancy)

white lilly - it has happened to me.  I left it until pups were weaned.

As long as it is less than 3 months overdue, there isn't a problem.
