When Megan goes out for a wee and settles back in i've noticed she has some brownish discharge. Is this normal and how long will it last?  And i've noticed one of the pups is having runny poo's and they are orangey coloured. Yesterday they were doing little black poo's. Again, normal or not?

Not had a pup with runny poo's  so I wouldn't say that is normal. Black yes. As for her discharge yes that is normal and could last for some weeks, as long as it isn't foul smelling then all ok. If you are at all concerned then get her to the vets :-)

Like with human mothers, the brownish discharge can go on for several weeks. As for the puppies poos, again the colour's normal, although I wouldn't expect it to be runny as such. The blackish first poos are meconium (the remains of what was in their guts in the womb) and the milk turns their poos mustardy-coloured. (Once you've changed a breast-fed baby's nappy a few times you go off the idea of scrambled egg for dinner!)

It's very soft, maybe not runny cause it is thick. It smells awful tho, just like baby poo.

That is exactly what it is baby poo, as the pups are on milk only.
