hi guys
Well I 've been to my 1st show yesterday I put tilly into mpb of 16 entries we didn't get placed.
We then went into maiden of 6 entries and we got 5th/vhc so am well proud
I spoke to judge and he was very nice basically he wanted to place her in mpb but she kept sitting and licking him (He laughed at her) plus she wouldn't show teeth properly she was more interested in the judge lol
But am well pleased with result and am hooked
Thank you to everybody that has replied to my earlier post about standing etc you don't realise how much you have helped me and i've now sent another schedule off for another show next month lol.
So will be doing more training before then

Aww well done and just shows that the judge did like her and that she is still very much a puppy which many of us like to see!

Well done -all you have to do then is practice more. :) I went from having a puppy that sat in the ring and was unplaced at her first show to the same one becoming a Champion.

Well done! Good on you for speaking to the judge too! I'm always delighted if I get anything at all and if its a big class so much the better :-)
I always send OH in the ring because I get so flustered it just flusters the dog too - my OH could be shaking inside but never shows it on the surface

Well done, I wondered how you got on as I knew someone else who was going :) Practice and make it fun; it is very hard in breeds where there are large classes- they only have so many cards to give out! We still all take the best dog home.

Huge Congratulations :) i personally like to see a puppy being a puppy as well, let them have fun, mine use to sit all the time but with some ringcraft they soon get out of the habit, just go and have fun together and enjoy your day x

Well done, the main thing is that you both enjoyed it, and the fact that you were placed once and nearly got placed in another class is a real bonus, it's onwards and upwards from here! :-)
