hi guys
I have another question
I'm packing bag for my 1st show tomorrow and was wondering if you had to bring any documents (kc papers) to prove correct indentification
Sorry if this is silly but am panicking now i've thought about it sorry guys

passes will be needed for shows that issue them.

it says on schedule that passes wouldn't be sent so assume we get them and catalogue when we get there?

I am quite calm atm i'm gonna enjoy myself,day off from the kids and oh lol

So am going to have fun and training for me so know what to expect next time round so won't feel so nervous of the unexpected lol

If its a champ show, you might have to download them off the site(dogbiz usually) Ring number will be on the benching.   If its a club show, they'll give them to you there.  if its an open show, you'll get the ring number when you go into the ring, you don't need and enter/exit pass.  When i started i was surprized you didn't have to take reg or jab record.

My friend had a job to get in once without her pass and phoned the seretary from the entrance.  She wasn't amused.

If you go abroad the dogs are vetted in, and I think Rabies vaccination records taken (but as I had to use Pet Passport do s I may be wrong.

They used to Vet in at UK shows long ago, but logistically with the numbers at the big shows it would be a nightmare.  Actually more likelihood of spreading disease handling all those dogs one after another.

I always think it good practise with those judges who use wipes for their hands after each dog, after all examining mouths would be an easy way to spread Kennel Cough for example.
